Analyse numerischer Verfahren zur L\u00f6sung partieller Differentialgleichungen, die in den Materialwissenschaften und in der Geometrie auftreten. Basierend auf Aussagen zur Existenz und Eindeutigkeit von L\u00f6sungen der nicht-linearen Differentialgleichungen werden Zeitschrittverfahren und Finite-Elemente-Methoden im Hinblick auf Stabilit\u00e4t und Konvergenz untersucht.
