Successful PhD defense: former Erasmus+ visiting scholar Parrendah Adwoa Kpeli graduates with a PhD from the University of Ghana

The Africa Centre for Transregional Research (ACT) warmly congratulates Parrendah Adwoa Kpeli on the successful completion of her PhD. On 10 February 2026, she was awarded the doctoral degree in Accounting from the University of Ghana.

During her Erasmus+ stay at the University of Freiburg in the academic year 2023/2024, Parrendah Adwoa Kpeli was closely involved in the academic environment and enriched scholarly exchange at ACT through her perspectives and research interests.
As she herself emphasizes, her exchange year in Freiburg had a lasting impact on her academic work. This period resulted in two academic articles, which have been submitted for publication and are currently under peer review.
The ACT is delighted about this milestone in her academic career and wishes Parrendah Adwoa Kpeli every success in her future research and teaching.
