konzentriert sich auf die Analyse von Entwicklungsmechanismen auf molekularer Ebene. Wir verwenden den Zebrafisch als Modellsystem, um Genetik, Genomik, Signalforschung, experimentelle Embryologie und Optogenetik zu kombinieren und so ein quantitatives Verst\u00e4ndnis komplexer Signal- und Regulierungsnetzwerke in der Entwicklung zu erreichen. Wir untersuchen grundlegende neuronale Mechanismen, die es einem Tier erm\u00f6glichen, seine sensorische Umgebung schnell zu analysieren, Verhaltensentscheidungen zu treffen und koordinierte Bewegungsmuster zu erzeugen. Wir verwenden Zebrafische im Larvenstadium als neurobiologisches Modell, da es uns erm\u00f6glicht, die Struktur und Funktion des visuellen Systems von Wirbeltieren und seine Entwicklung im intakten Organismus zu untersuchen. Neben den im Zebrafischmodell \u00fcblichen genetischen und molekularen Methoden verwenden wir eine einzigartige Kombination aus Multiphotonen-Kalzium-Bildgebung, elektrophysiologischen Aufzeichnungen einzelner, genetisch definierter Zellen und Analyse der synaptischen Konnektivit\u00e4t durch Volumenelektronenmikroskopie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flex
