New Serious Game Brings Robotics to Life: Abenteuer auf Servo Bay
We are thrilled to announce that our innovative serious game Abenteuer auf Servo Bay has received funding approval from the Carl Zeiss Foundation. The game is part of the science communication activities accompanying the third-party-funded project ReScaLe, which is also supported by the Carl Zeiss Foundation. ReScaLe aims to develop cutting-edge training techniques for robotics.
Serious games transform complex knowledge into interactive experiences that make learning tangible, engaging, and immediately applicable. They serve as a powerful instrument for knowledge transfer by connecting expertise with real-world challenges through play. Abenteuer auf Servo Bay aims to inspire young people to explore robotics, artificial intelligence, and STEM subjects while engaging with the social, ethical, and legal aspects of human-robot interaction.
With this project, we are creating an interactive learning environment that combines play and knowledge, reaching a broad audience in a creative and accessible way. The game’s release is planned for the coming year, and we look forward to developing the game as an integrative and participative process together with representatives of the target group.
