We are delighted that our member Simon Binder has been accepted into the Young Academy of the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz.

The Young Academy is the talent development program of the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz, a renowned scholarly society that funds research initiatives in a wide range of disciplines and is dedicated to support science and literature, to help preserve and promote culture.

Outstanding researchers from various disciplines, as well as literary and musical personalities, are accepted into the Young Academy for a period of four years in recognition of their outstanding scientific and creative achievements to date, and are supported in the pursuit of their careers. The aim of the Young Academy is to promote interdisciplinary and intergenerational dialogue between outstanding scientists, with a focus on fostering fruitful exchange and scientific excellence. Membership offers them opportunities for networking, interdisciplinary exchange, creative collaboration, and the development of innovative projects within the framework of interdisciplinary working groups—in close connection with the Academy’s prestigious scholarly society in which the members of the Young Academy are integrated.
