We are the point of contact for many questions relating to the Institute for students, staff and guests. Just drop by or contact us by email or telephone – we look forward to meeting you in person and assisting you. Our goal is to make your stay at the university as pleasant and uncomplicated as possible

• Facility management
  • Contact person for tradespeople and service providers; key management
• Equitment mamagement
  • Material procurement and management
• Cooperation in internal and external events of the Institute
  • Support in organising seminars, workshops, guest lectures, conferences
  • Processing of excursion applications and travel expense reports, committee work
• Personnel management
  • Support with managing applications, preparation and follow-up of employment contracts, absence management
• Finance management
  • Processing invoices, support with budget and third-party funding management and budget planning for the Insititute

• Assistance with course coordination (HISinOne: event management, personnel and room management, ILIAS links, import approvals, integration into examination regulations
• Assistance with lesson planning / HISinOne
• Communication / messages to students via HISinOne
• Assistance with website management
• Requesting and invoicing guest lectures (also for Interdisciplinary Anthropology)
• Book and journal orders (usually via Jos Fritz and Rombach) and their confirmation (SAP) in exchange with the specialised and university library;
• Keeping minutes and preparing the staffmeeting (corresponding entries in the ILIAS calendar)
• Collaboration / support in facility management and other responsibilities in the secretarial / adminstrative area.
