PhD project: “Revolts against Rome in the Late Roman Republic”
My PhD project with the working title “Revolts against Rome in the Late Roman Republic” studies some of the major wars in the Late Roman Republic in order to reexamine the applicability of the concept of revolt for this time period. The wars studied are the Bellum Asiaticum, the Jugurthine War, the Marsic War, the Sertorian War, the War with Lepidus, and the Third Slave War.
