Eucor Seed Money 2025: Call

Seed funding for innovative cross-border projects within Eucor – The European Campus.

We are pleased to inform you about this year’s Eucor Seed Money call. Researchers and lecturers can apply for up to € 60,000 for cooperation projects in teaching, research, doctoral training, as well as innovation and transfer within the Upper Rhine university network Eucor – The European Campus. The network includes, in addition to the University of Freiburg, the Universities of Basel, Strasbourg, Haute-Alsace, and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The selected projects can start at the earliest on 1st February 2026 and the maximum project duration is 24 months.

At a glance:

• What? Initial financial support for innovative cross-border projects in teaching, research, doctoral training and innovation and transfer.
• Who? Researchers and lecturers of the University of Freiburg in cooperation with at least one Eucor partner university; Partners outside Eucor are welcome to participate but are not eligible for Seed Money funding
• How much? Up to 60,000 € per project
• When? The deadline for applications is Monday 8 September 2025 at 17:00 CET (Brussels time).
