Mathematik (Mathematics)

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) – 1 field degree program

The programme provides theoretical and practical foundations in higher mathematics, teaching its concepts, methods, and ways of thinking, along with insights into its applications. A small minor, such as computer science, physics, economics, or philosophy, complements mathematics. The programme offers flexibility in choosing the minor, elective courses, and the balance between mathematics, key skills, and modules outside mathematics. The programme prepares students for the M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Mathematics in Data and Technology, and interdisciplinary master’s in science, technology, or finance. Many typical mathematics career paths are also accessible with a bachelor’s degree.
