The Dual Career Service provides you and your family career-related as well as personal guidance after your move. It has offered individual support and valuable contacts at and outside the University on the instructions of the Rectorate since 2008.

Dual Career Network Upper Rhine
The network strengthens the cooperation between higher education institutions, research, industry, and administration – to improve the prospects for dual career couples in the region.
The University of Freiburg is a member of the Dual Career Network Germany (DCND) – a nationwide alliance of experts on dual career services at higher education institutions and research institutes.
The DCND stands for professional consultation of dual career couples. The network is dedicated to developing nationwide quality standards for the support of dual career couples, sharing best practices, and strengthening Germany as a centre for research.
