Our Dual Career Service (DCS) helps you to acclimatize to your new environment, provides orientation, and assists you during the entire application process: from career advising and your job search to the preparation of your application documents.
We facilitate access to regional industry networks and draw your attention to relevant job offers. Our support helps you to develop realistic perspectives, make sound decisions, and identify new career prospects in the Freiburg region.
Services of the DCS
Our service is aimed at all dual career couples – regardless of their marital status, gender identity, or lifestyle:
- newly appointed professors,
- research group leaders, and
- managers in key positions, as well as their partners and families
The advising is oriented towards the quality standards of the Dual Career Network Germany (DCND) and is continuously being developed further.
As a founding member of the regional Dual Career Network Upper Rhine (DCNO) and the nationwide Dual Career Network Germany (DCND), the University of Freiburg is actively involved in professional exchange and the further development of dual career structures.
