Doc Camp

The Doc Camp is a two-day retreat for doctoral candidates at the University of Freiburg who want to step away from daily research routines, recharge their motivation, and gain valuable tools and connections for the journey ahead. You’ll be able to take part in workshops covering topics such as scientific writing, AI tools, career development, organization, and mental health. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network and exchange ideas with fellow doctoral candidates, enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, and simply have fun! Doc Camp will take place in the Black Forest during the summer semester. Look forward to good food, activities like table tennis, board games and hiking, and an inspiring setting. Participation is free of charge.
