Onboarding and welcome event for doctoral candidates
Our onboarding and welcome event “Doc On!” takes place every semester, and alternates between an in-person and online format.
If you’re just starting your doctorate, it can be very helpful to find out about all the different support services and opportunities at the university. At Doc On!, you’ll get to know what the Graduate Centre has to offer, meet other doctoral candidates, and start building your network here in Freiburg. You can also learn how to get involved in university life—like becoming a representative in the Senate or joining doctoral candidate councils.
