The Rising Stars Conference 2021/22

Please note: The programme might be subject to change.
The health and safety of all participants is our highest priority. Therefore, all activities will be adapted to the pandemic hygiene regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany, the State of Baden-Württemberg and the University of Freiburg that will be in force in March, 2022.
Only persons who are either fully vaccinated or recovered can participate on site.
One is considered recovered from the 28th to the 90th day after a positive test.
A negative Covid19 test is not sufficient for participation.
In addition, FFP2 masks will be required.

The Rising Stars will spend the day with their Host Principal Investigators and their teams.

Rising Stars Night

During the “Rising Stars Night” there will be time to chat and celebrate. We will announce the winning teams that will be invited to participate in the Rising Stars in Residence Programme. Rising Stars selected for this programme will receive a travel stipend up to 5.000 Euros each for coming back to Freiburg for an extended research stay in summer or autumn of 2022.
