Prospective international students who wish to study at the University of Freiburg to earn a degree (degree-seeking) will find all the important information here. The International Office supports students in exchange programs.
Short-term study without a degree (temporary mobility)
Students from universities abroad can complete part of their studies at the University of Freiburg without pursuing a degree (non-degree-seeking).
University of Freiburg Global Exchange
If there is a student exchange agreement between your home university and the University of Freiburg, you have the option of studying in Freiburg as an exchange student for one or two semesters.
Erasmus+
Students at European universities participating in the Erasmus program can spend a semester at the University of Freiburg.
Eucor – The European Campus
Students at member universities of Eucor – The European Campus can take classes or spend a semester at the University of Freiburg.
Freemover
If the student’s home institution does not have a partnership agreement with the University of Freiburg, students may apply independently as international free movers for a short-term study program.
