Research on Endangered Languages Made Visible
As the concluding event of the Emmy-Noether project “Non-Hierarchicality in Grammar (NonGram)” we are pleased to present an exhibition in cooperation with the Uniseum , showcasing linguistic fieldwork and endangered languages. The exhibition ran from June 13, 2024, to August 25, 2024.
Exhibition Highlights
- Insights into the fieldwork and work of linguists documenting endangered languages
- Information about endangered languages such as Kera’a (India), Pomerano (Brazil), and Russinisch (Eastern Europe)
- Visualizations from the NonGram research project
