Research on Endangered Languages Made Visible
This is the archive page for the exhibition “Zur Sprache kommen,” which was organized by the Department of Linguistics at Uniseum of the University of Freiburg from June 13, 2024, to August 25, 2024. – It is now on permanent display at the Department of Linguistics and can be visited by appointment.
As the concluding event of the Emmy-Noether project “Non-Hierarchicality in Grammar (NonGram)” we presented an exhibition in cooperation with the Uniseum , showcasing linguistic fieldwork and endangered languages.
Exhibition Highlights
- Insights into the fieldwork and work of linguists documenting endangered languages
- Information about endangered languages such as Kera’a (India), Pomerano (Brazil), and Russinisch (Eastern Europe)
- Visualizations from the NonGram research project
