Certification of the Dean’s Office Administration of the Faculty of Medicine
In July 2020, the staff of the Dean’s Office Administration of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Freiburg successfully completed an external audit of their implemented quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. This made them one of the first faculty administrations nationwide to do so. The re-certification audit took place in June 2023. An impressive team performance that was once again rewarded by re-certification from ClarCert!
The certification of the Dean’s Office Administration means that it has implemented the strategic goal of the Faculty of Medicine, “We overcome boundaries in research and teaching as well as in collaboration,” both in its mission statement and processes in an exemplary manner.
The Dean’s Office Administration of the Faculty of Medicine sees itself as a motivated, committed, and efficient service unit. Taking into account the changing legal and social framework conditions, it provides a professional range of services that reliably supports all internal and external partners in achieving their goals precisely, as quickly as possible, economically, and to their utmost satisfaction. It continuously develops the quality of this service within a holistic quality management system across all levels in a learning system.
Quality Management Representative (QMB)
The quality management representatives are assigned directly to the Dean and the Faculty Management as a staff unit. They support them in the strategic management and further development of the central administrative processes within the Dean’s Office Administration of the Faculty of Medicine.
