We are delighted to invite you to the scientific IMM-PACT symposium ‚Immune Adaption (ImmuneAdapt)‘ on 18 June 2026 in Freiburg. Building on the collaborative spirit and scientific curiosity that have shaped the IMM-PACT community, this event aims to carry that momentum forward by bringing together leading experts to discuss the latest insights into adaptive and dysregulated immune responses. The program will feature advances in T-cell biology, myeloid cell function, chronic adaptation in therapy and dysregulated chronic adaptation.
With an exceptional line-up of international keynote speakers as well as distinguished researchers from Freiburg, the meeting promises a day of vibrant scientific exchange and translational perspectives.

Rail Connections: From the main train station in Freiburg, you can reach the Historisches Kaufhaus by taking tram line 1 in the direction of Littenweiler to „Bertoldsbrunnen“. From here it is only a short walk to Münsterplatz.
Parking Spaces: The Historisches Kaufhaus is situated in the pedestrian area of the city centre, and there is no parking at the building. There are options for parking in the car parks nearby. The Schlossberg car park is just a few minutes’ walk from the Historisches Kaufhaus.

IMM-PACT Scientific Symposium 2025

The IMM-PACT Programme for Clinician Scientists concluded with its final symposium on May 16, 2025. The well-attended event, held under the theme “IMM-PACT of Novel Mechanisms and Translational Research Approaches in Immune-Mediated Diseases,” offered a comprehensive overview of the latest advances in research on immune-mediated disorders. In addition to presentations by international experts, particular attention was given to the IMM-PACT Fellows and Alumni, who showcased their work in highlight talks, and whose achievements were especially recognized during a ceremonial certificate presentation. The ‚Historisches Kaufhaus‘ served as a festive venue for the event, providing a distinguished and celebratory atmosphere.

IMM-PACT Scientific Symposium 2023

The IMM-PACT Programme for Clinician Scientists convened the Scientific Symposium „Novel Technologies, Targets and Therapies in Immune-mediated Diseases,“ on May 12th, 2023. Researchers at all career stages, engaged in the study of immune-mediated diseases at the Medical Center of the University of Freiburg, the Faculty of Medicine, and other research institutions, participated in this event. The organizing team facilitated a one-day conference featuring presentations by national and international experts in the field. Moreover, the IMM-PACT Clinician Scientists presented their research findings in talks, posters, and lightning talks. It was a productive day with fruitful and multifaceted sessions, numerous esteemed speakers, opportunities for networking and around 100 (registered) attendees.

IMM-PACT Scientific Symposium 2021
The IMM-PACT-Programme for Clinician Scientists organised the Scientific Online Symposium “Clinical Perspectives in Immunology: From Bench to Bedside” on 30 March 2021. It was attended by researchers of all career stages working in the field of immune-mediated diseases at the Medical Center – University of Freiburg, the Faculty of Medicine and other research institutions.
Next to well-known and established scientists, the IMM-PACT Clinician Scientists presented their research results in talks, posters and lightning talks.
It was a great day with interesting and multifaceted sessions, many amazing speakers and almost 120 participants.
