In langen Feldforschungen und Archivstudien haben mich vor allem Themen der Wirtschafts- und Politikethnologie besch\u00e4ftigt &#8211; etwa Arbeit, Mu\u00dfe und Produktivit\u00e4t; nationale Grenzen als koloniale Erfindungen und ihre lokale Bedeutung heute; Ungleichheiten in globalen Wirtschaftsbeziehungen; die Spielr\u00e4ume lokaler Politik in ungleichen Gesellschaften.
