On&nbsp;<strong>February 10, 2026<\/strong>, around&nbsp;<strong>350 students<\/strong>&nbsp;will compete in the System Design Project (SDP) Robotics Competition&nbsp;<strong>in teams of four<\/strong>. Their self-developed robotic systems will tackle a course inspired by the Martian landscape, putting creativity, teamwork, and technical skill to the ultimate test \u2014almost like a mini-Mars mission\u2026 right here on Earth!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When:<\/strong>&nbsp;February 10, 2026, 10:00 am \u2013 6:00 pm<br><strong>Where:<\/strong>&nbsp;Faculty of Engineering, Georges-K\u00f6hler-Allee 101, Building 101 Foyer<br><strong>Special note:<\/strong>&nbsp;Free entry, no registration needed<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The competition: Technology meets team spirit<br><\/strong>After months of preparation, the teams face challenging tasks. Their robots must navigate hills, craters, and obstacles\u2014all inspired by the Martian landscape<strong>. Innovation, speed, and design<\/strong>&nbsp;are judged, showcasing how cleverly the students tackle technical challenges. And if you\u2019re paying close attention, you might even spot the occasional alien!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New in the fyer of building 101: A look at past winners<\/strong><br>Visitors can explore the newly designed display case showcasing award-winning robot models, discover the materials and clever engineering behind them, and be inspired by the students\u2019 innovative spirit. From delicate sensors to ingenious robotic arms, the exhibit demonstrates how ideas are transformed into fascinating technology. A must-see for all tech enthusiasts and robotics fans!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Partner Companies on site<br><\/strong>Bosch Sensortec, SensoPart Industriesensorik, and TDK Micronas support the competition and will be present as&nbsp;<strong>exhibitors on the event day<\/strong>. Visitors can engage directly with the companies to learn about technological innovations and career opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coordinators Marina Krause and Till Steinmann say:&nbsp;<em>&#8220;A big thank you to our partners for their fantastic support.
