Prof. Dr. Sonia Dsoke

Sonia Dsoke’s research focuses on the development of novel advanced functional materials for electrochemical energy storage systems, including supercapacitors, lithium, and post-lithium-ion batteries. Her work emphasizes innovative and sustainable battery concepts, such as sodium (Na), zinc (Zn), aluminum (Al), and sulfur (S)-based systems. Beyond electrode materials, Sonia also investigates other critical components, including binders, separators, conductive carbons, current collectors, and electrolytes, as well as their mutual interactions in electrochemical cells.
