Prof. Dr. Arnim Wiek is the chair of the Humboldt-Professorship of a Sustainable Food Economy at the Institute of Economics at the University of Freiburg. He is also Co-Director of the Transformational Sustainability Science Group. Before that, he was a professor at the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University, US, and has been a guest professor at Leuphana University L\u00fcneburg, Utrecht University, NL, and University of Freiburg. His research focuses on co-creating sustainable solutions for local food businesses and companies in close collaboration with entrepreneurs, government agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n

Prof. Dr. Wiek is the Co-Director of the group, contributing methodological research and publications for solutions-oriented and transdisciplinary sustainability science and education. He guides the research program of the group.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
