Millie wins poster award of the IK Spring School
We are happy to share that UCF alumna Martha “Millie“ Lemke won 1st place of the poster awards at the Interdisciplinary College (IK) spring school, sponsored by the German Cognitive Science Society. This year’s IK theme “Bridging Realities of Brains, Language, and Technology” provided the perfect context for Millie to present her poster titled “When language shapes reality: Fight metaphors in immunology.” The poster is based on her bachelor thesis she wrote in 2025 – supervised by Dr. Simon Büchner and Prof. Dr. Susana Minguet – in the LAS Major Life Sciences. Congratulations Millie!
