New Citizen Science Information on ILIAS
We are excited to announce that a new Citizen Science Information Platform in English is now available on ILIAS! So have a look and sign up for guidance and news!
The ILIAS course provides materials, resources, and practical guidance for students and instructors interested in developing and carrying out their own Citizen Science projects. The platform is still evolving and will be continuously updated and expanded – we would love to hear your feedback and suggestions!
The offer is currently primarily aimed at students in the Major Environmental and Sustainability Sciences (ESS), but students and instructors from all Majors are very welcome to explore the materials and get involved.
🍄 Citizen Science Project: Mushroom Monitoring
As part of the new initiative, we are offering a hands-on Citizen Science project focusing on mushroom monitoring. Following the severe drought this year, the mushroom season is expected to be significantly affected, making this year’s observations particularly interesting.
3 places are available for students who would like to participate. The project is worth 2–3 ECTS and can be taken as part of the ESS Senior Profile or as an Elective.
