University College Freiburg (UCF) is an interdisciplinary learning community that encourages open exploration and productive disagreement. We – students, academic and administrative staff – cultivate trust, courage, and commitment, the bedrocks of solution-oriented collaboration in academic work and in life.

We value autonomy and reflection. We create an exciting environment for rigorous and serendipitous scholarship and life-long development. We encourage intellectual curiosity to better understand the world and imagine ways to improve it.
