The Chair of Nature Conservation and Landscape Ecology is seeking a highly motivated andenthusiastic personality with profound management und organizational skills to support Prof.Alexandra-Maria Klein to manage her research group, the integrated research projects, teaching andoutreach activities.

Your tasks

  • You will help to identify and distribute tasks to group members and will engage exchanges betweenthe different members and projects
  • You will help to coordinate and format/proof-read research proposals and reports
  • You will support the dissemination of research findings and the management of budgets
  • You will support the preparation of teaching material, especially scripts for lectures and presentationsin general and you should be able to join teaching classes

Your profile

  • You need to have a MSc or preferably PhD degree. Experiences in ecological research are preferablebut not compulsory. Two years of work experience is an advantage
  • Enthusiasm to support nature conservation and ecological research is needed and you should have ahigh interest in our research and teaching activities in respect to the conservation of plant-insectinteractions with a focus on bees and pollination
  • You should have skills to create graphical abstracts and communication within social media are addons
  • You should have experience in managing projects and administrative tasks, good analytical andproblem-solving skills in respect to research and teaching projects
  • You need to be able to multi-task and should pay attention to detail and should be able to prioritizewell
  • You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You require time management and profound organizational skills as well as an eye for details
