Forschung
Derzeit arbeite ich als Postdoktorand an der Professur für Naturschutz und Landschaftsökologie der Universität Freiburg. Ich bin stark an transdisziplinären Projekten zu den verschiedenen Rollen der Bienen und ihrem Schutz in Agrarlandschaften in ganz Europa beteiligt. Meine Forschung konzentriert sich auf das Verständnis von Pflanzen- und Bestäubergemeinschaften und deren Beitrag zu Ökosystemleistungen in landwirtschaftlichen (forstwirtschaftlichen) Ökosystemen. Besonders fasziniert bin ich von den Wechselwirkungen zwischen floralen Ressourcen, Bestäubern, landwirtschaftlichen Praktiken und der Umwelt, um ökologische Mechanismen wie das Konkurrenzverhalten von Wildbestäubern und Honigbienen und die Eignung von Landschaftsmerkmalen als Nisthabitat zu verstehen.
