How to get there
By public transportation: From downtown (Bertoldsbrunnen stop) or from the main train station, take Line 1 (toward Landwasser) to the Paduaallee stop. From there, walk (backward at first) across the bridge, then turn left onto Sigsteinstraße, which leads to Windausstraße; the institute is located at the end of this street.
By car:
From the A5: Take the Freiburg Mitte exit, head toward Freiburg/Titisee-Neustadt onto the highway access road. Take the second exit, Lehen/Betzenhausen, toward Betzenhausen; at the traffic light, turn right onto Sundgauallee (toward Stadtmitte); after 80 meters, turn left at the traffic light onto Hofackerstraße; take the first left onto Husserlstraße; then take the second right onto Windausstraße, at the end of which the institute is located.
From the Black Forest or Freiburg city center:
Take the Mitte highway feeder road westbound, exit at Offenburg/FR-Landwasser, Freiburg-Betzenhausen, then take the Lehen-Betzenhausen exit, head toward Betzenhausen, turn right at the traffic light onto Sundgauallee (toward city center), after 80 meters turn left at the traffic light onto Hofackerstraße, take the first left onto Husserlstraße, then the second right onto Windausstraße, at the end of which the institute is located.
