Innovative soil probe

ECOSENSE Project A1 has developed innovative and advanced CO₂ sensors for quantitative data on below-ground CO₂ concentrations. They are designed with emphasis on fast response, compactness, and robustness, utilizing two-chamber photoacoustic technology. The sensor is integrated into a 2 cm thin probe to measure with minimal intrusion. Furthermore, the probe is rugged and sealed against liquids and soil – ideal for the deployment in field sites.
