Staff representation and consulting services

On our website, you can find information about the work of the Staff Council. We represent the interests of the employees of the University of Freiburg within the framework of the Landespersonalvertretungsgesetz (LPVG – state staff representation act) of Baden-Württemberg.

The Staff Equal Opportunity Representative supports the University leadership in implementing the Equal Opportunity Act of the State of Baden-Württemberg. She is involved in all personnel, social, and organizational measures, insofar as they can have consequences for the occupational situation of female employees. In addition, she advises employees as well as parents and employees with care responsibilities on issues concerning work–family balance.

protect offers advice and support to every member of the University of Freiburg, who has experienced discrimination or abuse of power. If you have experienced or witnessed discrimination or abuse of power and want to challenge it, we’re here to help you!
