EPIADAPT will install monthly virtual progress report meetings. This format will allow in-depth scientific discussion of specific projects and ad-hoc exchange of exciting novel developments that might be relevant to the consortium.
An annual retreat in person will bring together all SPP2502 participants for scientific exchange and brainstorming events, which will be enriched by the social components necessary for successful collaboration. The retreat will also be a forum to reflect on any interdisciplinary barriers that may exist in the consortium and to identify measures to overcome them.
A monthly journal club in which novel developments shall be reviewed will be run by the early career researchers of the SPP, and international speakers will be invited to present ongoing research on neuroepigenetics in a digital public talk series.
Intra-consortial laboratory visits for specific training in wet laboratory approaches are encouraged. Workshops, for example on the analysis of single-cell data or multi-omics data, FAIR data management or good scientific practice will be organized, and the SPP expects that joint workshop visits will further enhance interaction in EPIADAPT.
