Teaching

Our objective is to interconnect teaching and research and give the students the instruments to bridge and transfer science to society and to industry. With respect to energy storage systems, it is crucial to teach the students the fundamentals of electrochemistry and how to apply the techniques required to evaluate the specific system. Knowledge about the phenomena governing the electrochemical reactions is fundamental for learning how to evaluate the performance and understanding how to characterize systems like batteries, supercapacitors, and other energy conversion and storage systems. This knowledge is fundamental not only at the academic but also at the industry level.
