Data Stewardship meeting


The first meeting on Data Stewardship at the University of Freiburg organized by the Central Data Facility took place on 10th February 2025. We invited Data Stewards and other people responsible for research data management.

The aim of this meeting was to introduce the CDF as new service and consulting unit and initiate a real network of Data Stewards and people interested in RDM. 25 people accepted our invitation. After a short presentation (slides available on FreiDok+) and a survey, a lively discussion took place about tasks and the role of data steward, needs and expectations from the new network.

The next meeting will take place on 2 April 2025.
