The ECOvette

The ECOvette is a lightweight and minimally invasive leaf cuvette developed for long-term monitoring of plant gas exchange in natural environments. It enables real-time, highly sensitive measurements of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon dioxide, and water vapour directly at the leaf level. Integrated multi-sensory monitoring of leaf temperature, ambient temperature, and humidity ensures robust operation under field conditions. With its durable design, the ECOvette supports distributed sensor networks and provides new opportunities to study ecosystem dynamics under climate stress.
