Eucor Olympics 2025

The Eucor Olympics 2025 invites students from the University of Freiburg to join students from France, Germany and Switzerland on 30 May 2025 for a day of sports, fun, team spirit and intercultural connection. The Olympics offer an opportunity to compete in sports, make new friends and experience the diversity of the five universities participating in the Eucor network.
Eucor comprises the Universities of Basel and Freiburg, the Université de Haute-Alsace, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the University of Strasbourg. The aim of the consortium is to promote cross-border studying, teaching and research.
The Olympians can look forward to a varied programme full of creative and sporting challenges. The morning will be devoted to informal team building, followed by the athletic competition in the afternoon. A joint lunch is planned for the break. At the closing award ceremony, prizes will be awarded to the best teams and for special achievements such as fair play or team spirit. The evening will then come to a close with a buffet and music. All activities are accessible to people with disabilities.
The event will be held at the Department of Sport and Sport Science, Sandfangweg 4, 79102 Freiburg. The Olympics begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at around 6:00 p.m. The registration deadline is Sunday, 25 May 2025. Only 60 places are available. Participation is free of charge; travel expenses will be reimbursed. Information is available from the respective contact persons at the participating universities.
