New Possibilities for Using Artificial Intelligence

So-called artificial intelligence is omnipresent. At the University of Freiburg, the psychologist Markus Langer is researching its effects on society. The psychologist sees the need for extensive training in the fields of medicine and psychotherapy, for example, in order to be able to precisely control artificial intelligence. All the more so as it is becoming increasingly difficult to identify. The Freiburg researcher sees it as an important task to create trust in the sensible use of artificial intelligence. It is important to him that his research is interdisciplinary. In this way, different perspectives can be included in order to develop comprehensive and balanced solutions for dealing with artificial intelligence.
