Dates and deadlines

A high level of German is required for most undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Freiburg. Some programmes may also require other language skills. Special Applications

Applicants with disabilities or chronic illnesses may submit a hardship request as part of their application. Applicants may also request disadvantage compensation (shortened waiting period, grade improvement). In addition, top athletes are eligible to submit a special application.
