We would like to give you a few tips so that you can plan the literature and information supply for your courses in good time. Please also inform your students about the University Library’s offers and services for presentations, term papers and theses in good time!
As part of the acquisition coordination between the University Library and the subject libraries, the relevant literature is either licensed in electronic form and thus made available campus-wide or acquired in printed form and usually only held at one location.
If you would like to find out which titles have recently been acquired by the University Library or the subject libraries, you can consult the new acquisitions lists online.
Acquisition proposals can be made via a general web form or directly via the relevant subject librarians.
If the University Library decides not to procure a work you have requested, you can order it via interlibrary loan or a document delivery service.
Lecturers have the option of obtaining extended loan conditions (‘semester loan’) from the University Library – please contact the information desk in the foyer of the University Library.
If you would like to provide a semester reserve for your courses in the reading room of the University Library, please apply for this via a prepared online form.
For access to online resources at the University Library, special authorisation concepts may apply for different groups of lecturers – please contact the University Library for more information.
