Teaching

The Chair of Ecosystem Physiology teaches the basics and principles of plant gas exchange and stress physiology using a variety of methods and experiments. These include photosynthesis, transpiration, volatile organic compounds, chlorophyll fluorescence, water potentials and stable isotopes of water and carbon. Modules include the necessary theoretical background and a variety of practical experiments, ranging from experiments in climate chambers and greenhouses to mature forests.
