By car

The Chair of Ecosystem Physiology can be reached from the highway exit Freiburg-Mitte. The feeder road after the exit has 4 lanes. The 3rd exit after approx. 5 km (signposted “Universitätskliniken”) will take you onto Berliner Allee. Continue straight ahead (approx. 2-3 km, several traffic lights) past the clinics until you reach an underpass under a railroad bridge. After the underpass, turn left at the traffic lights towards “Universität”. Follow the road straight ahead to the end and then turn left into the parking lot. Follow the road between the hangars to the left, turn left again at the next corner and drive around the building. You will find Ecosystem Physiology in building 053 on the left-hand side. The secretariat is on the second floor.

By public transportation

Directly from Freiburg main station there is an S-Bahn in the direction of BREISACH. Get off at the Freiburg-Messe/Universität stop and walk down the stairs at the stop. You are now already on the institute grounds near the canteen. Walk straight ahead and you will come to buildings 053 and 054. The secretariat of the Chair of Ecosystem Physiology is located on the first floor of building 054.
