Studying in Freiburg

Freiburg is a historic yet very young and dynamic university town. The city is small enough (≈ 240 000 inhabitants) to feel familiar quickly, and large enough to be vibrant and international. The University of Freiburg was founded in 1457 and is one of the oldest and most renowned universities in Germany. Tradition and modernity complement each other optimally here.

The location of Freiburg at the foot of the Black Forest and in the “Dreiländereck”, together with the mild regional climate, invites many excursions and outdoor activities.
