Agroforestry in Southern Africa – new Pathways of innovative land use systems under a changing climate (ASAP) targets the application of agroforestry systems utilising a transdisciplinary approach as a suitable response for local stakeholders to anticipated economic, ecological and social challenges as a consequence of a changing climate.

A broad multidisciplinary network of European NWFP actors, to review the current state of the art, highlight existing innovation, share information and experience, aiming to increase the European-wide theoretical and practical understanding of NWFPs, and to promote sustainable management.
