Curriculum Vitae

Katarzyna Jankowiak studied English at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznán where she also completed her Ph.D. in English Linguistics summa cum laude. In her research, she primarily focuses on the psychophysiology of bilingualism, as well as the link between stereotypes and cognition – for example, in the research project “Stereotypically thinking: Neural correlates of stereotype processing in the native and non-native language” for which Jankowiak was the principal investigator. She has received various scholarships, such as the scholarship from the Minister of Education and Science for outstanding young researchers (2022) and the AMU Rector’s Scholarship for outstanding research achievements (2022).
