Current calls for proposals of the Erasmus+ programme
Below is an overview of the upcoming Erasmus+ calls under Key Action 2 and the Jean Monnet Actions, which support cooperation projects, international master’s degrees, and EU-focused academic initiatives—alongside strategic efforts in Europe and beyond.

Cooperation Partnerships
Cooperation Partnerships promote structured collaboration between at least three organisations in Europe and beyond, supporting internationalisation across education sectors. Between 120,000 EUR and 400,000 EUR are available for each project with a duration of between one and three years.

Capacity building
Capacity Building projects are multilateral higher education development initiatives between Erasmus+ Programme Countries and global partner countries. Funding is divided into three strands:
- Strand 1 – Fostering access to higher education cooperation
Duration: 2–3 years, funding: 200,000 – 400,000 EUR - Strand 2 – Partnerships for transformation in higher education
Duration: 2–3 years, funding: 400,000 – 800,000 EUR - Strand 3 – Structural reform projects
Duration: 3–4 years, funding: 600,000 – 1 million EUR

Allinaces for innovation
Alliances for Innovation strengthen collaboration between universities and businesses to boost Europe’s innovation capacity. Three project types are funded:
- Alliances for Education and Business
Duration: 2–3 years, funding: up to 1 – 1.5 million EUR - Alliances for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills
Duration: 4 years, funding: up to 4 million EUR - STEM Skills Foundries
Duration: 2 years, funding: up to 1.5 million EUR

Erasmus Mundus Actions
Erasmus Mundus supports transnational excellence in higher education through two funding lines: Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (15 months, 60,000 EUR per project) and Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (6 years, up to 4.6 million EUR per project).

Jean Monnet Actions
Jean Monnet Actions fund high-quality teaching and research on European studies including: Modules, chairs, centres of excellence, teacher training initiatives and policy debate networks. The funding amount per project with a duration of three years is between 35,000 EUR and 1.2 million EUR per project.
