Welcome!

Freiburg Research Services are comprised of the Graduate Centre (GraCe), EU Office, Science Support Centre (SSC), and Research Partnerships and Structures (RPS). We support researchers of the University of Freiburg and external researchers who are interested in the University of Freiburg regarding all questions of research funding. As a central service, we also offer support and guidance for the research infrastructures and centres at the university. In addition to the support of established researchers and postdocs as well as advisory and qualification services for doctoral candidates, we also advise students who are interested in pursuing a doctorate at the University of Freiburg.

Roche Continents 2026 Apply now!

Application Deadline February 17 at 1 pm

Roche Continents brings together 40 talented students from Europe’s top universities for a week-long program where the worlds of art, science, and innovation converge to foster a more sustainable future. Participants will engage with world-renowned scientists, artists, and leaders, explore thought-provoking research, participate in workshops, and build valuable connections. All costs are covered, except for personal expenses and optional activities on the day off.
