Twice a year, the University of Freiburg is offering initial project funding from the Research Innovation Fund with the two funding lines START and ready4transfer.
Both funding lines are primarily aimed at researchers in the early stages of their careers. Established researchers can only be funded in exceptional and justified cases.
Members of the Faculty of Medicine are not eligible to apply. The Office of the Dean for Research of the Faculty of Medicine (forschungsdekanat@uniklinik-freiburg.de) may possibly provide advice on alternative funding options.
The deadline for the 2025/2 call is 14 July 2025, 13:00 (CEST).
