The Graduate Centre (GraCe) offers prospective and current doctoral candidates of the University of Freiburg (except medicine) advising on how to find appropriate funding for their dissertation project as well as on travel grants and publication allowances.

Moreover, GraCe coordinates the application process for doctoral scholarships offered by the State Graduate Funding Program, University Funding for the Completion of the Doctorate in DFG Research Training Groups and offers a GraCe travel grant to finance travels to conferences.

Doctoral candidates of medicine please contact the doctoral office of the Faculty of Medicine.
The Erasmus+ team at the International Office provides advice on the possibilities for doctoral candidates to spend time abroad during their doctorate with Erasmus+.
The Studierendenwerk also offers financial advice, e.g. on student loans and credits.
