German as a Foreign Language
The Language Teaching Centre offers a wide range of courses:
Semester courses: You can choose between German courses in the evening, in the morning and specialised language courses. The P-courses (language courses and cultural studies) are available exclusively to international students on exchange and partner programmes at the University of Freiburg (Global Exchange, ERASMUS, AYF).
Summer and Winter School: Discover Europe with our intensive language and culture courses! Our Summer and Winter School offers you the ideal language-learning experience in the beautiful university city of Freiburg – right in the heart of Europe.
International Short-term Programmes: Here you will find specialised short courses for international visitors and students who wish to acquire or improve their German language skills in a short space of time.
