Divisions
The Department of Computer Science is home to 17 research groups (divisions) that cover a wide range of disciplines in teaching and research. Key areas of focus include cyber-physical systems, information systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning, networks and resilience, and neurotechnology and robotics.
Department
Founded in 1995, the Department of Computer Science (IIF) is part of the Faculty of Engineering, the youngest faculty at the university. A modern campus with state-of-the-art equipment combined with comprehensive e-learning programmes ensures excellent working conditions.
Research

Our scientific papers are regularly presented at the most prestigious national and international conferences and are published in the most important scientific journals. Research and teaching are closely connected, and the exchange across institutional borders is daily practice at our Faculty. Practical research is frequently carried out in cooperation with our students.
